How to Prepare a Perfect Walnut Cake?

As promised, here is the list of ingredients and a step-by-step guide to prepare the traditional walnut cake for your family.

Ingredients:

6 eggs

250 g sugar

150 g flour

200 g softened butter

200 g walnut kernels

1 teaspoon baking powder

Butter for greasing

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180ºC (356ºF) and grease a cake pan with butter.

In a bowl, beat the butter with the sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating continuously. Then, add the flour mixed with baking powder and beat until well combined. Fold in the walnut kernels and mix well.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Check the doneness with a toothpick.

Remove from the oven, let it cool, and then unmold the cake.
