Burel is a natural, renewable and ecological 100% wool fabric. Burel is produced in the Serra da Estrela region, from the wool of local sheep. Initially it was used to manufacture the Capes of Shepherds who spent the night in the mountains grazing their flocks. Burel is a very resistant fabric, waterproof and soft to the touch, which makes it an excellent material for making elegant and at the same time resistant suitcases and backpacks. Burel is an ecological alternative to traditional leather, promoting more sustainable and ethical fashion.
